We believe that God through His Word has given us a road map to living this life in a manner that is pleasing to him.  When we embrace the truth of His word, we become equipped to live the lives that He has planned for us.  We, at Focused on Your Future Christian Life Ministries, Inc., recognize that we have no power in and of ourselves.  Rather it is only by the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit that we are able to help others walk into their best life!  As such, we affirm that God has given us the essentials listed below which we have compiled as our Statement of Faith.

It is our belief that the Bible is the authority for believers and the Church. We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

We believe in one eternal God who was from the beginning and shall be until the end.  He is Alpha and Omega and He has revealed himself in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, otherwise known as the Trinity.  God is holy, loving, all knowing, all powerful, omnipotent, ever present and the source of all that we need.  As God described himself to Moses in Genesis as I AM, as believers, we too can rest assuredly knowing that God is all that we need Him to be!

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only risen Savior.  He is the only begotten Son of God, who was born of a virgin and walked the earth in human form, yet never sinned.  He endured trials and tribulations so that he could relate to all that we would ever experience in this lifetime.  He was crucified and shed his blood for the atonement of our sins.   He gave his life, was buried in a borrowed tomb and rose on the third day robbing death and the grave of their power.  He has ascended back to heaven, where He now sits on the right hand of the Father making intercession for our sins.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.  It is the Holy Spirit who enables us to live a life that is pleasing to God.

The Bible states that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  It is our belief that sin is anything that separates us from God.  The Bible also tells us that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. It is as a result of our sinful nature that all must confess Jesus as Lord and Savior to overcome the power and grip of sin.

Salvation is a gift from God.  We cannot work for it or earn it.  God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.  It is only through confession with the mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior and belief that He is the Son of God and has risen from the dead that we are saved.  Upon acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior, we are adopted into the family of God becoming heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus.
